The Christian Service is a 21 week program composed of 16 credit hours. This certificate helps students understand basic Christian doctrine, history, and discipleship in order to be able to serve at very basic levels in the local church. It concludes with an opportunity to take a Chaplaincy certification exam with the International Federation of Chaplains.

This certificate program requires 16 hours of coursework as follows:
BIB 101: Basic Christian Doctrine – 3 credit hours
BIB 103: How to Read the Bible – 3 credit hours
BIB 201: Personal Spiritual Disciplines – 3 credit hours
BIB 202: Survey of Christian History – 3 credit hours
BIB 203: Introduction to Christian Discipleship – 3 credit hours
BIB 199: Christian Service Capstone – 1 credit hour
